Alan Gottlieb is Vice President and Special Counsel at First American Title Insurance Corp./National Commercial Services in Philadelphia, PA. and Princeton, NJ.  He specializes in all aspects of insuring complex commercial real estate transactions.  Alan has extensive business and legal experience and has established a track record of innovation in response to rapidly changing business conditions. 

Alan is responsible for helping customers achieve their business goals by (i) anticipating and solving title problems related to the acquisition, ownership and financing of real property and (ii) making valued business introductions.  He has developed strategic relationships with his clientele, which includes major law firms, developers, private equity investors, lenders, REITS, hospitals, owners and operators of senior care facilities, universities and real estate brokers.

Alan previously served as Chief Financial Officer of the Human Resources & Services Division, Vice President of Corporate Real Estate and Vice President of Purchasing at Cigna Corp. in Philadelphia.  Prior to joining Cigna, he served as real estate counsel at American Express, Stroock & Stroock & Lavan and Citicorp Real Estate in New York City.  Alan is admitted to practice law in PA, NJ and NY.

Alan is currently active in ULI, ICSC, NIC and is a founding member and serves on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Real Estate Council.
