Q. How do I order an appraisal?

A. To order an appraisal, please select the "Order An Appraisal" link. If you're a current customer, simply log in to the secure ordering platform and select the “Submit Order Request” navigation option to place your appraisal order.

Q. Is First American Staff Appraisals an appraisal management company (AMC)?

A. No, First American Staff Appraisals is a direct-hire staff appraisal company that is part of First American Mortgage Solutions' comprehensive suite of valuation solutions for the mortgage lending industry.  We feature a unique branch model located in major metropolitan markets throughout the United States. Each branch has a branch manager and support staff to meet your customer service needs. Our appraisers are employees who only work for First American and are not sub-contractors.

Q. I’m a certified appraiser. How can I join the First American Staff Appraisals team?

A. First American is always looking for top quality appraisers. We require a 4-year college degree, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. First American offers a 401(k) savings plan, medical, dental, vision, life, prescription drug, disability insurance, employee stock purchase plan, W-2 employee status, bi-weekly pay, and much more! 

We also provide unparalleled training and support, with a nationally recognized chief appraiser and full support staff. You will be part of a team whose mission is to set the industry standard for professional appraisals, integrity, and service to our customers. First American Staff Appraisals does not engage sub-contractors or maintain a panel of independent fee appraisers.
